How many calories are you REALLY burning at the gym?

“Calories.” One of the most dreaded words for dieters and lots of gym goers… Who knew it could carry so much weight?

Whether you’re trying to get lean, maintain your weight or bulk up, you need to know how many calories you’re consuming and burning. Yet, while it’s easy to count calories in our diet, it’s hard to estimate how many we’re actually burning in the gym.


Exercise for a happier, smarter and more productive brain!

Everyone knows exercise is good for your body. One physical benefit, for example is that being active boosts high-density lipoprotein (the “good” cholesterol) and decreases unhealthy triglycerides. This helps promote healthy blood flow and decreases your risk for cardiovascular diseases, which are the leading cause of death for both men and women. Exercise can in fact help prevent or manage a wide range of health problems and concerns including stroke, metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes, certain types of cancer, arthritis and falls.
