Is clutter hurting your health?

Hmmmm… A blog… What to write, oh what to write! As a novice to the world of blogging, deciding on a subject turned out to be a task in itself! There are countless topics related to health and fitness that interest me. I just couldn't seem to pick one! As I sat in front of my computer fingers on the keys my mind felt both cluttered and vacant at the same time.

Because I said so, my personal path to fitness.

When I created the game of becoming healthy and well, I made a promise I would workout 5 days a week. I made this promise to myself, and I shared it with everyone I could. While it is great to have options, we often choose that of least exertion: sleep in another hour and figure it out later.

For the Love of Movement!

As many of you know I have had my struggles with weight. I was overweight and then obese from probably age 6 until I was 23. At 23 I decided I was finally ready to be healthy! I started walking a minimum of 5 days a week for 30 minutes, and I wrote down EVERYTHING I put in my mouth. As time went on my walks became longer and I was able to go further each time. Why walking? Because it was easy to do, I didn’t need a lot of equipment and I loved it! Sometimes I had friends with me, other times I would go on my own and enjoy the scenery.  More recently I have been swimming and biking.
