Class Descriptions

Gentle Yoga- Step into your weekend with yoga. Unwind and let go of the busyness of your week through a guided asana practice. Yoga is an exploration within that brings stability and lightness to the body and the spirit. Come and revitalize and relax.

Stretch & Core- A great compliment to both strength and cardiovascular training. Passive and active stretching from head to toe keeps muscles and spine supple. Core work added to keep you toned and strong.

Yoga flow- Yoga flow is a strong vinyasa style class that tones muscle, increases stamina, core strength & flexibility. By linking movement with breath this class generates heat, clears the mind, and energizes the body. Emphasis is placed on proper alignment to improve posture, balance and confidence. Yoga flow is an amazing workout that can aid in weight loss, body toning.

Anusara Yoga Flow- Anusara Yoga Flow classes are known to be uplifting, challenging, and healing. They are appropriate for students of all levels of practice. Hatha Yoga postures are explored in creative sequences that invite union of mind, body, heart, and spirit. Specific, detailed alignment instruction is given with regards to individual needs. This class will energize, awaken, strengthen, relax, and restore you.

Pilates Mat- Done in various positions on a mat, this class targets the abs, back, and buttocks, using visualization techniques to enhance the mind-body connection. Great as a back care class, as you will restore mobility to your spine, flexibility to your muscles, and strengthen your core. You will learn breathing techniques, which will facilitate abdominal strengthening. The end result is improved posture, alignment, and mobility.

Roll & Tone- Roll & Tone is fitness class using the foam roller as a central prop. We use the foam roller for it's traditional, tension releasing effects and we also perform exercises to enhance core strength, stability and total body conditioning. Foam rollers are provided, but feel free to bring your own. All levels welcome.
